French Club

Le Cercle Français (French Club / Honor Society)

Le Cercle Français will present cultural and language opportunities to students in a fun atmosphere. Students participate in parties, games, competitions, films, and fundraisers to support cultural trips.  The World Language Honor Society provides peer tutoring to underclassmen.

Le Cercle Français is open to students grades 9-12.  Students who qualify for the French Honor Society will receive further recognition. 

 

 

French Honor Society (Société Honoraire de Français)

Requirements are as follows:

• Be a Junior or a Senior at Highland in the 2025-26 school year
• Take level 3 Honors and Level 4 Honors French class
• Earn a final year grade of "A" in French levels 1, 2, and 3 Honors
• Participation in Highland Craft Show
• Participation in Highland Multicultural Fair
• Tutoring in E204 during Tartan Time - Seniors only

French Honor Society members will receive the following recognition:

• Earn lifetime membership in the Société Honoraire de Français
• Participate in a student-led induction ceremony
• Receive school and district wide recognition
• Receive an honors cord at graduation
• Receive a certificate of membership
