Welcome to Highland Regional High School!
Congratulations on beginning an exciting new chapter as a Tartan! Beginning high school is a big milestone, and while it's normal to feel a mix of excitement and nerves, know that you are joining a school community that is committed to helping you succeed.
Freshman year is all about building a strong foundation. It's a time to explore new interests, challenge yourself academically, get involved in clubs, activities, and athletics, and begin creating memories that will last a lifetime. The choices you make this year will help shape the next four years, so come to school ready to learn, work hard, and make the most of every opportunity.
My advice is simple: Be present, be respectful, and don't be afraid to step outside of your comfort zone. Ask questions, meet new people, and remember that everyone is here to support you. You don't have to have everything figured out on day one. Just focus on giving your best effort each day.
I am excited to serve as your Vice Principal and look forward to getting to know each of you and helping you throughout your high school journey. Together, let's make your freshman year a successful, memorable, and positive experience.
